 Basically, we ALREADY have a ton of FC characters that are like those characters. We don't want to add more that we have to police. We want to encourage people to app the frickin' existing FCs. :) We definitely don't want people making OCs who are effectively an FC's power set and explanation but with their OC personality tacked on.

		+	Here's my feelings on this.

		+	I think we should start with a strict list of what is allowable, for sanity's sake. Opening up more characters to start means more headaches for a starting mush where we're struggling to fit things into theme.

		+	We want to limit what we have to ONLY superhero concepts from:

		+	- DC
		+	- Wildstorm

		+	Nothing else should be appable without a character pitch, and I'd argue we want to outright put at least a temporary halt on any other comic characters from outside those three being apped until we feel the MUSH is stable enough to allow it. Every outside character comes with issues we have to deal with; if we allow, say, Fathom from Top Cow, we have to figure out how her history and people exist in a world where we already have two underwater kingdoms out there under Aquaman and Namor. It's work we don't want to deal with when we're already just trying to smooth out the inevitable teething issues of a new MUSH.

		+	We should limit what type of characters OCs can be. For example, no Kryptonians, no Kherubim nobles, no Daemonites, no Green Lanterns, no Flashes, etc. Apping Zealot is fine. Apping Majestic is worrisome but allowable. Making an OC who is effectively Majestic with a different personality is not. I lean towards just saying no OCs for the first few months, in fact, but I realize that might discourage appers from coming back.

 Honestly I'm fine with starting with the strict list and hearing the arguments for it. If we want to loosen it up after, that's better than having to tighten it after we've put one out. And I think it's good for us to have a limited list to start so we can have a solid idea of what we're allowing. Once we've seen how things go, if we have reason to loosen it up we can always do that later if we're comfortable.

		+	In fact, that's basically what I'm saying: make a limited allowed list; everything not allowed is by default banned; and then ban specific things within the allowed properties.

		+	Example: Wildstorm is allowed. The Authority characters and the Four characters are banned. Jack Hawksmoore is banned. Century Babies only allowed under <insert specific rules>. OCs from Wildstorm must fit into Team 7 or GenX only. No WildCATS, Daemonite, or Kheran OCs.

		+	I think for established characters we should not require them to clear a concept with us first, to create a charbit. In so doing, we SHOULD require a naming requirement so that duplicate persons aren't vying for the same bit. Generally, full name (first/last) seems to work really well.

		+	OC characters SHOULD require a concept with a rough outline of powers prior to being able to apply, we can reason this being as, well, because we want to make sure you have a balanced concept that fits within the parameters of our world.
