Grid

Well, I'll leave this up to New Order mostly, I think we pretty much settled on the cities we want? New York, Metropolis instead of Boston/Detroit, Gotham instead of Chicago? Etc.

We should also install an easy-access Hyperloop transit system, or other technology to ease traversing from locale to locale to have an easy integration and prevent grid-locked 'I don't have a way to get from NYC to Gotham', etc... DeadWeather (talk) 15:14, 2 August 2020 (UTC)

Maybe I'm a purist.

  • Metropolis should either be a part of NYC, or should be - as it is in legit comics - in Delaware.
  • Gotham should either be Jersey City, or should be - as it is in legit comics - on the Jersey side of the Delaware Bay, making it the dark twin of Metropolis.

Do we want anything else in our grid? A California locale (Coast City, LA, whatever)? Chicago? Blue Valley?

My feel on it is that we have a unique theme, a unique top super group, why not have a unique grid as well? And honestly putting stuff where they are according to the maps means everything is heavily focused around New York and New Jersey, which feels way too clustered. I'd rather spread them out to explain why heroes from other cities aren't constantly showing up to issues that are just across the bay. Thus, why I wanted to make Gotham Chicago, Metropolis a rebuilt Detroit or Boston, etc. I'd be okay with a Coast City or Starling City if there's enough RP for it, but I feel like unless there's a lot of RP for these places it's not worth adding as of yet. --Metahistory (talk) 22:21, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
