By fair use, what are we referring to?

Fair Use is a doctrine of exception to Copyright protections. In essence, what I am relating to here, is what rights do we as the game claim to the intellectual property/writings of our players / community members. In general the expectations would be, I think that the game maintains full rights to use and edit the content of:
- apps
- backstories
- logs
- character and object descriptions
Where these are written by current and former players, so long as the previous player's account ID is credited for their contributions.

Mmm. So if people want to rewrite anything on an existing character, they have to rewrite everything so it's entirely their own. I'm okay with that. I've never liked the 'app a previously played character but make no changes to what the last player did for their sheet'. --Metahistory (talk) 23:05, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
